What We Do
Digital Aerial Photography

Aerotech Specialists, Inc. is a family owned and operated, full service company. We own the helicopter and airplane, as well as all post-production equipment. We currently own two professional digital cameras, the primary boasting 17 megapixels and the back-up is 11 megapixels. 17 megapixels is currently the highest quality digital camera on the market. Based in Las Vegas since 1994, we’re committed to quality and service. Our main focus is on custom flights to support construction and land development activities in the Southern Nevada, Las Vegas area. We fly at least once a week, our turn-around time is approximately two business days from shoot to delivery, and we’ll fly on the weekend if necessary. Rush jobs and custom flights are our specialty.

Our charge is $400.00 plus delivery fees for a basic site which includes a minimum of (17) photos: (1) vertical and (16) obliques; (8) with the horizon blue sky and (8) focusing on the property itself and any close-up photos that would benefit the client. These usually pertain to construction sites, where there are multiple structures, ditches, or other activities taking place. After the photos are shot they are organized and numbered, color corrected, dated, and resized to 8x11 at 300dpi. The photos are delivered on CD or DVD along with (1) 8x11 color print.

Sites located within a (5) mile radius of Las Vegas McCarran Airport and Nellis Air Force Base will be priced based on any air traffic control delays. Customs flights that include one or more of the following will be priced on a case by case basis: be on site at a specific time and or for an extended period of time; an altitude higher or lower than normal; coordination with a Government Agency; etc.

Additional options and services:

a) TIF FORMAT: Standard photos are JPG quality. JPG’s will print up to 20” x 30” at 300dpi resolution. If your company requires larger files, TIF format is recommended. There is a flat fee of $75 to shoot and decompress in TIF format.

b) BALCONY VIEWS: Balcony view shots are primarily requested by condominium and hotel/timeshare projects. These photos are designed to be used as a selling point to potential buyers by allowing them to see which condo units boast which views of Las Vegas prior to construction. Balcony shots are taken horizontly in all eight directions, and are provided at $75 per altitude.

c) DIGITAL EDITING: $75.00.

d) ENLARGEMENTS: We have two large-format printers capable of printing photos up to 40” x 60”. Most enlargements larger than 11” x 17” are mounted onto a light-weight, foam style backing (gatorboard). Our experience has shown that these mounted photos can be extremely effective in board meetings, sales offices, and construction trailers.
